50 in 50 for 50

This is a series of works I created in 2019 to celebrate my 50th birthday.  I created 50 art pieces on 5 x 5 canvas in 50 consecutive days leading up to my 50th birthday.  While most are done with acrylic paint, other materials and techniques were used as well, including fibers, paper/mixed media, fabric/felt, sewing notions, metal and beads.  Each piece has a story and was featured in a daily blog for the duration of the series.
